About Grace myself:
Tea is a part of my life, a natural and important part. My mother told me, when I was a few months old baby, she used to lay me on tea bushes, so she could free her hands to pluck tea.
I grew up in the southern area of Hangzhou West Lake Longjing green tea region. My mother’s father, Shoutao ZHAO (1908-1978), was my initiate teacher. He taught me Chinese language, ink brush writing and painting. He also enlightened me to understand Chinese classical music. He spent time with me around our surroundings of lotus ponds, rice fields, bamboo woods and tea hills.
Later on I came to know, during those late Cultural Revolution years, he went through hard sufferings. However, my grandfather left me a happy, cheerful and positive childhood. He is like a cup of green tea, its sweet and bitter tastes mingle up into his complete life.
The unforgettable childhood life with my grandfather leads me to chew and understand our Chinese saying, “人生如茶”, “Life is like tea”.

| The wave of life moves me into Sweden, with my Swedish family. Nothing is more joyful for me than sharing my love for tea with the wide people of Sweden, my second hometown. |
